SaveMintoStart with a public post link
Copy the link to a public Facebook, Instagram or TikTok video that you own or have permission to save. Paste it into SaveMinto and choose Get options. You will see the formats available for that link before preparing a file. Private posts, videos that require a login and some restricted posts may not be available.
Choose “Best available” for video
If picture detail matters, select Video and Best available. SaveMinto selects from the source formats it can retrieve. This setting cannot improve a low-resolution upload: the saved picture can only be as detailed as the accessible source.
A higher-resolution file can take more time and storage space. If you only need a quick reference on a phone, a smaller option may be more practical.
Choose a lower resolution for a smaller file
When resolution choices appear, select the maximum you want. For example, choosing 720p means the tool aims for 720p or lower; it does not promise that a 720p version exists. The original video and platform determine the actual result.
- Sharing on a phone: a lower resolution may be sufficient and easier to store.
- Editing or viewing on a large screen: start with Best available when the source supports it.
- Slow connection: a smaller file may finish downloading sooner, but preparation time also depends on the source.
Choose MP3 when you only need the sound
Select Audio · MP3 when you have permission to save the audio and do not need the picture. SaveMinto converts available source audio into an MP3 file. It cannot create an audio track if the source has none, and converting a low-quality track cannot restore lost sound detail.
When you select audio, video-resolution choices do not apply. Save the MP3 for listening or other uses you have rights to make.
Download in four steps
- Open a public post and copy its link.
- Paste the link on SaveMinto and click Get options.
- Choose Video with an available quality, or Audio · MP3 if offered.
- Click Download and allow the file to finish preparing and saving.
Only download content you own or have permission to use. Platform restrictions and source availability can affect which formats appear.
